an accurate diagnosis. Review of all
relevant clinical information (i.e scan results or referrals).
Primary diagnosis formed based on clinical information gained during examination. Secondary diagnosis is listed in order of likelihood to ensure we do not miss anything.
In depth education of patients on their injury/condition with the use of models, charts and images. We believe a the deeper the patients understanding of their condition, the better the outcomes.
Drawing on the variety of treatment options available, your physiotherapist will determine the most appropriate techniques for your condition. Manual therapy, Joint mobilization, Soft tissue and Deep tissue release, Dry needling, and Exercise Prescription are some common treatments commonly utilised.
ONGOING MANAGEMENT AND PREHAB
Once the acute pain has subsided, our aim is to further strengthen areas to decrease the possibility of reaggravation or reinjury. Our approach becomes more global, and we look at the body as a whole as opposed to focusing on the area/joint that was initially injured to provide long-term results.
